Now, Duke Energy Kentucky and East Kentucky Power Cooperative have Green Tariff filings before the Commission. Utility Green Tariffs are optional programs in regulated electricity markets offered by utilities and approved by the state PSC. This means the Green Tariff allows larger commercial and industrial customers to buy bundled renewable electricity from a specific project through a special utility tariff rate. OEP Announces Energy Efficiency Job Training Program

The Kentucky Office of Energy Policy and Kentucky Housing Corporation announce a Quality Control Inspector(QCI) training opportunity to begin in January 2020. Applications are being accepted to train and certify QCI's through the Building Performance Institute. The new training program is funded by a state energy grant awarded through the OEP to meet the current need for certified professionals to inspect in-home energy upgrades completed through the Kentucky Weatherization Assistance Program.To apply or for more information, contact Kentucky Housing Corporation, Residential Energy Efficiency.
