UM ADVANCE (grant awarded Fall of 2001) reports significant progress in the recruitment of women scientists and engineers at the University of Michigan:
As a proportion of all science and engineering tenure-track offers, 15% of offers went to women in AY2001 and 41% in AY2004.
As a proportion of all science and engineering tenure-track hires, 13% of new hires were women in AY2001 and 39% in AY2004
