Main Objective
•To stimulate sustainable practices in agriculture that reduce
GHG emissions and increase carbon sequestration
Specific objectives
•Implement Brazilian commitments signed at COP 15
•Promote strong efforts to achieve zero illegal deforestation
throughout the country
•Adopt sustainable practices in agriculture
•Encourage new research on crop adaptation to climate change
