WHY GO GREEK? SERVICE Members of Greek organizations collectively perform hundreds of community service hours per year. Additionally, they raise over $25,000 to donate to different charitable and philanthropic causes. LEADERSHIP Going Greek provides a variety of leadership opportunities where you can learn transferrable skills that will serve you beyond your time at CSUEB. Fraternity and sorority members also serve in various leadership positions on campus, including student government, resident advisor, and orientation leader. ACADEMICS Academics and scholarship are of high importance to our community. Our councils and chapters have encouraging GPA requirements and host various events to help their members be successful academically. FAMILY Brotherhood/sisterhood is one of the main reasons students decide to go Greek. Fraternities and sororities provide a sense of community that in turn helps our students stay engaged and graduate. C O U N C I L SG R E E K C O U N C I LGreek Council is comprised of all chapters andassociate chapters at CSUEB. Together they work to build a strong Greek community and help to address issues related to Greeks on campus. The Council is comprised of delegates from each organization and nine board members. @csuebgreekcouncil
P A N H E L L E N I C A S S O C I A T I O NAt CSUEB, Panhellenic Association governs two sororities: ΑΦ and ΣΣΣ. The council supports its members by promoting values of education, leadership,friendship, cooperation, and citizenship. @csueb_nphc
N A T I O N A L P A N - H E L L E N I C C O U N C I LNPHC governs all historically African-American fraternal organizations, including: ΑΦΑ, AKA, KAΨ, ΔΣΘ, ΦBΣ, ZΦB, ΣΓP, and IΦΘ. NPHC organizations at CSUEB host a variety of activities and service projects with the objective of enlightening the campus community while showing Greek unity.@csuebpanhellenic
