Director’s Message

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to learn that NIT Jamshedpur is releasing the first edition of its Research

Bulletin, which will communicate about the research and development activities and

achievements of the institute, its faculty members, research scholars, and students to

institute community as well as other stakeholders. I hope that it will also provide an

impetus for creating a vibrant research and academic environment in the institute to

motivate for high quality research and developing state-of-the-art research

infrastructure. I would like to congratulate all the faculty, staff, and students for

their efforts and dedication, which led to achieve the all India ranking of 79 in NIRF-

2020 ranking framework. It would not have been possible without the collective

efforts of all the stakeholders. I congratulate the Office of Dean, Research and

Consultancy, for this initiative of publishing Research Bulletin, and hope that it will

prove to be a vibrant medium of exchange of scientific and academic ideas. My best
