Join us for an afternoon of networking, speakers and attendees that will teach and share
how to help create, sustain build your business. This is the first in an ongoing series of
power lunches and evening forums of our new Consumer Education and Consumer Action
Project named after the Rev. Willie T. Barrow, former aide to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
who taught Dr. King's economic principles under Dr King's organization Southern Christian
Leadership Conference (SCLC), then under Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr. at Operation
Breadbasket, Operation PUSH and Rainbow/PUSH Coalition; and was a longtime mentor to
Mark S. Allen, Chairman of National Black Wall Street Chicago, and former aide to Rev.
Jackson. The organization has been funded in part by donations from Marquette Bank,
Citibank (Citi), COUNTRY Financial, Reggio's Pizza, The Monroe Foundation, and everyday
grassroots people!
We would like to invite you and your company to be one of our sponsors. I would like to speak to you as soon as
possible concerning the ways we can work together. I have provided some brief information as to who we are below.

• The National Black Wall Street Chicago’s mission is to promote capacity for new and existing business
opportunities in the Chicago land area. We would like to leverage both personal and professional skills, as well as
relationships, in order to give back to the community. Our organization recognizes that it is uniquely suited to
provide a cycle of philanthropy that advances our community to new heights, as each generation of men and women
gives back to the next.

Expected Guests: 100 to-200 people
VIP Guests: 50 (Sponsors, vendor, media, churches, political groups, Politician and community groups).
Target Audience: Chicago land Business owners, potential new business owners, churches, non-for-profits
and community groups.
Purpose for Event: To promote grassroots business economic and workforce development in
Chicago.
Event Overview:
This event will develop a cycle of philanthropy, small business cultivation, economic development and
opportunities. Our consumers, businesses, community groups, Faith-based groups, political groups, and
residents will meet and engage with each other to bring awareness to the to self employment, and personal
development in the community. This event will incorporate the following components:
Introduction: 1.00pm to 1.30pm: The event will begin with a welcome and introduction to the event from
Mark Allen. He will introduce our event host and our attendees.
Inspire: 1.30pm. to 2.00pm. You will mix and mingle with people like you that will inspire you and
motivate you. Learn how to do the perfect elevator pitch and make you a master communicator.
Networking; Business owner meet, greet and networking.
How You Can Be Involved: We are looking for sponsors to be a part of our event. Here’s your chance to
brand your business and get your marketing message to Business owners, Churches, non-for-profits,
The Chicago land Business community. We target consumers via social media, events, and media. This is
