INTRODUCTION: Abby was getting ready for start of the coming semester. She felt an intense pain in her stomach and abdomen. RISING ACTION: She was brought to the hospital and tests were conducted later finding out the she has acute appendicitis. CLIMAX: She was brought to the operating room to remove her appendix. FALLING ACTION: Abby struggled for a while after her operation due to an infection. DENOUMENT: She stayed in the hospital for two weeks to recover. Abby’s Appendicitis Duran, Abby Channe A.
