Name _____________________________________ Math Story Problems Worksheets www.allkidsnetwork.com © Copyright AllKidsNetwork.com July 30th, 2015 was Ellie’s 10th birthday. Her parents and her sister Sally organized a birthday party for her. They invited some family and friends to come celebrate, eat and have fun. The first ones who came were Aunt Mary, Uncle Dan and their son, Ellie’s 8-year-old cousin, Mason. They brought a huge carrot cake with colorful icing on top. Just when they walked into the house, Ellie’s best friend Anna was dropped off by her mom. She brought with her 4 packs of candy and 60 cookies her mom made. After a while, the door bell rang again. It was Tina and Tim from the neighbourhood. The siblings brought 3 dozens chicken wings made by their dad, Mr. Robinson. Then, Layla and Michelle came. They are Ellie’s good friends from school. They brought 2 bags of chips along with 2 big bottles of soda. Ellie’s mom put down the meatball sandwiches she just finished preparing onto the table full of goodies. Sally took out the fruits, cut them and laid them out as well. Now everything was all set, and the party was about to begin. Ellie’s dad lit the 10 candles on the cake and they all sang the Happy Birthday. And so the party began in the midst of laughters.
