Realizingtheimportanceofinstitutionalresponsibilityintheteaching,learning andevaluationprocess,thecollegegearsupadequateintrinsicmechanismsandadopts newpathwaysinachievingthegoalsofacademicexcellence.Thestudentsadmittedto UG courses are from a heterogeneous and rural background and over the past few years there has been a considerable increase in the number of SC/ST and OBC students. The college promotes a research culture among faculty and students through consultancyandcollaboration.CurrentlythedepartmentsofCivilEngineering, Electronics&CommunicationEngineering,InformationTechnologyandMechanical Engineering as Research Centers and other departments are making efforts towards this. TheinfrastructuralfacilitiesarethemeansforAcademicExcellence,andithas alwaysbeenoneofthesignificantadvantagesoftheinstitution.Thewholecampusis connectedwithinternetfacilityandSRKRWebservercontrolsbrowsingofany unwantedwebsites.Thecomputingcenterisusedextensivelyforacademicand administrative purposes with tailor made software designed by a team of programmers at college. ThedepartmenthavingairconditionedseminarhallswithLCDprojectorsand interactiveboardsprovidestherightatmospherefortheeffectiveconductofacademic programmes. With the video conferencing facility a high level academic interaction with the National and International experts is facilitated. Theruralbackgroundandtheheterogeneityofthestudentsinputnecessitates thesituationtoprovideexcellentstudentsupportservicesinvariedformstofacilitate thetransformationamongthestudentsasvisualizedinthemissionofthecollege.The CoordinatoroftheStudentsMentorCellisinchargeofallstudentsupportactivities.
