Who does what?
• Dr. Nathan Mandel: Properties (keys/lockers/equipment); Scheduling and Events; Instructional Support.
• Chad Wahls: Maintains facilities and is our liaison with F and S; in-house project manager for construction projects; telephone and communications; maintains and repairs audio and video equipment in the classrooms and offices.
• Joy McClaugherty: Manages the copy center (programs, mailers, copy machines, etc.); music-main receptionist; assists with scheduling and events calendar; music announcements email; etc.
• John Minor: tunes and repairs ALL SoM pianos.

7:45 am.• Audio/Video – MB 1160/audio cabinet access.• Classroom requests: ATLAS scheduler.• Classroom etiquette
– If you move desks around, please put the chairs back for the next teacher.
– Wipe the white boards when you are done. DO NOT use permanent marker.
– If you require extra desks for your classroom, please see Dr. Mandel, don’t move them from other rooms.
– If you or your students spill something, WIPE IT/CLEAN IT UP.– Do not move the piano.– Notify Dr. Mandel or Mr. Wahls of any problems in the
classrooms!

Practice Rooms- Teaching of private lessons in School of Music/State
facilities is a violation of University policy, and is against State law. (PLP/VLP/classes are exempt)
- Pianos should not be moved between rooms.- No food or drink (other than water) is allowed in
practice rooms.- Clean up after yourself – please be courteous to your
colleagues.- LOCK THE DOOR when you are done.- DO NOT cover the windows.- Sign up sheets are optional, but should be respected.- Email music-equipment for problems with practice
rooms, and John Minor for piano maintenance.
