Monster Obituary

A savage beast, the Lorathe was hated by many when he was a man. The shape shifting ability of the Lorathe would help it sneak into homes undetected by many, while still human. Rumour was that the Lorathe was once human, but was attacked by a dangerous black wolf from his pack, causing his first death. He then came back to life as a beautiful white wolf. The power of a necklace in the shape of a double crescent moon that was bestowed onto him was what made him change. Anyone who ever tried to steal this necklace was then killed. Although now the Lorathe shall join those he killed because on Friday, August 14, 2026 the Lorathe was found in the woods dead. No one ever knew who the Lorathe actually was, now they won’t ever be able to find out.

Legend of the Lorathe

It was said one day that there was a man who lived with wolves. He would always gather food the way they taught him, by going into homes to scavenge. One day he was betrayed by his wolf brethren and killed. He was dead for years and then was resurrected as a white wolf by the shaman of Kipchuichu. He then vowed to always teach the wolves that were together in a pack to stay united. To never harm humans. Though his efforts failed on himself and he killed those who hurt him, he withered away of old age. The Lorathe was carried away by goddesses and delivered among the stars. The Lorathe is now forever known as the white wolf in the stars.
