MySonar is a self-service and compliance web app for individual students and teachers.

It helps to promote responsible Internet use through self-monitoring and compliance reporting.

It reduces the burden on school IT Departments by allowing students and teachers to do things themselves, that they would normally rely on IT to do for them. This includes remotely accessing school files, managing their own spam, managing their Internet usage and quotas, and being able to temporarily unblock certain websites in their classroom.

MyActivity is a self-service compliance web app that can be accessed at school or at home by students, parents and staff. It enables them to self-monitor their Internet browsing activity and compare this to the school’s expectations. One of the most powerful features of MyActivity is that it also allows Pastoral Care, teachers and even parents, to monitor a child’s web activity.

MyActivity, therefore, isn’t just a web filtering report, it is an activity compliance tool, that allows teachers and parents to keep an eye on how much time students are spending online, what content they are accessing and, importantly, how this compares with the school’s expectations.

Another important MyActivity feature is that it is able to track, log and account for a student’s Internet activity, regardless of whether they’re using a computer in a school lab, a laptop brought from home, or even a mobile phone. Internet browsing policies can be set based on individual students, groups of students, year levels, or any other customised category.

Self-Compliance Internet Activity Monitoring

MyClassroom enables the school to strike a balance between protecting children and providing teachers with the freedom in their own classroom to use the Internet the way they want to use it.

Using their own MySonar web application, teachers can temporarily relax Internet restrictions. This provides teaching flexibility.

MyClassroom is really easy to use. With just three clicks, the teacher can generate a bypass ticket for a specific period. The teacher shares the code with their class and the students use the bypass ticket in their browser to temporarily bypass the block page. It’s that simple!

Importantly, the teacher has complete visibility of which students are using the bypass ticket, who is logged on.

MyFiles is a web application that allows students and staff easy access to their school network drive over the Internet – no need for local access. Wherever a student or staff member is around the world, they can log on to the MyFiles web app and gain access to their network files using any Internet-ready device.

MyFiles works not only with PCs, but also tablets and smartphones, making it the ultimate in cloud file access.

E-mails are generally filtered by a few sources before they ever arrive at your mailbox. Spam is caught and sent to the ‘junk’ folder, never to be seen again. However, what happens when an email you’re waiting for, from a parent, a co-worker or a student is filtered as spam? How can you ensure that this person, their email address and their domain are never sent to the ‘junk’ folder again?

MyMail gives students and teachers self-service capabilities to sort their own spam and create their own spam policies. This provides a fast and simple solution for teachers and students to manage their own spam whilst reducing the burden for IT departments who would traditionally have to wade through countless emails upon requests from staff and students.

Of course, MyMail is fully compatible with Gmail and Office 365, and provides additional functionality in the form of archiving for a full 365 days, as well as providing automated email alerts when spam is caught.
