Welcome to Myrtle’s Island. It’s a pleasant little spot in the middle of nowhere, And not many people ever manage to find it. That’s why Myrtle likes it.

In fact, Myrtle dislikes visitors so much that she does her best to keep them away.

One day Doris was flying around (as a seagull does), when she noticed an angry turtle on the beach. “Oh! That must be Myrtle,” she said.“I wonder why she is so angry.”

“Go away!!!!!” snapped Myrtle.“Do ya want a chip?” offered Doris.“Can’t eat chips. But thank you,” conceded Myrtle.“Aw that explains everything. See ya later!” Doris called out as she glided away.

The next morning Myrtle woke up to find she definitely wasn’t alone. On the beach around her were dozens of tiny baby turtles!! They all were all scurrying to the safety of the sea – they didn’t want to be around if Doris came back!

Myrtle, feeling a lot better now, also dove into the water, to find her crazy relatives waiting for her. “How’s our grumpy cousin?” asked Raphael. ”This is why I don’t like visitors.” Thought Myrtle with a smile, and swam after them.
