UNESCAP TOT On Multimodal Transport and Logistics were hold ( 3 ) times in Yangon.Jointly Organized byDepartment of Transport , Myanmar Marine University and MIFFA on 1-3 September 2009,17-18 August 2010 and 13 October 2011.

27 Trainers on UNESCAP Foundation Courseon Multimodal Transport and Logistics arerecommended by UNESCAP, Bangkok-

Thailand.

As a result, DOT, MMU & MIFFA jointly conductedthe UNESCAP Foundation Course Training toPublic , 10 times at MIFFA Training Center.

Since March 2010, Total 632 nos of Human Resources, including 65 nos of Trainers

were trained for International Transportand Logistics sector of Myanmar

Summary of Action Plan in 2012

Plan to organize Dangerous Cargo Handling Certificate Course for Air Freight and Sea Freight .  

Planning to contribute 2 separate Courses , UNESCAP “ FITL”Course and ASEAN –Japan Program “Logistics and Distribution”Course per month in 2012. 

Target participants : Both Public and Private Logistics workers,traders, retailers and wholesaler companies/enterprises, manufacturers, truck drivers, freight forwarders, LSP….etc.
