Pangasinan State University—Urdaneta is a satellite campus of Pangasinan State Univerity located in Urdanets City, Pangasinan, Philippines. The University is situated in fast-growing education center in Urdaneta City. Its origin traces its hard-pushed efforts, determination, political savvy and administrative acumen of its founder and the enthusiastic support of the faculty and staff, the University administration, the political leaders in the service area and the people of Urdaneta City in general.

Goals of the Academic Unit • To provide substance and directions to its mission, the college

shall pursue the following goals:

• Promote quality and relevant education designed to fully exploit individual potentials commensurate to the needs of the industry, economy and global competitiveness;

• Evolve and design relevant and responsive science and technology – based curricular programs that develop intellectual competence, civic and moral responsibility, cultural integrity, economic acuity, and scientific perspective;

• Enhance and strengthen faculty and staff capability building and development on a continuing basis;

• Protect and promote the welfare and interest of faculty members and administrative staff in terms of a continuing program for salary increments and other pecuniary benefits, social welfare and tenure;

• Provide a conducive learning atmosphere through the provisions of various student development services;

• Expand and establish network of linkages with other institutions both public and private to generate and complement resources support, intensify impact and strengthen academe – industry relations; and

• Develop, test, evaluate and rationalize institutional structures and management systems and processes to enhance the efficiency, cost – effectiveness and responsive of the college’s programs and projects.

PSU Graduate School In 1978 by virtue of the issuance of P.D. No. 4197,

the Pangasinan State University was created. In 1982, the doctoral program of the University was offered. PSU-Bayambang Campus, with its teacher education program, was made the center. In 1987, there were four centers of the Graduate School located at PSU-Bayambang, PSU-Lingayen, PSU-Sta. Maria, and PSU-Urdaneta, with the latter as its central office. The following year, the master's program of PSU-Sta. Maria was transferred to PSU-Urdaneta. Thus, there were three centers in 1988 to 1994. In 1994, all graduate programs were centralized in PSU-Graduate School – Urdaneta City
