Abstract
The extensive research and knowledge gathered within the organization and the tasks allotted
to me during the tenure of my internship is recorded and reported herewith. The report
consists of the knowledge and the technical subjects that I learnt at KPIT Cummins,
Hinjewadi, Pune.
In the first chapter I have reported the company and its various services offered and its
current market as well as its work environment. The chapter one explains also the financial
status as well as the GBS department of the company.
In the second chapter I have recorded the details about Oracle Weblogic and given an
overview of the work that is supported by this middleware server. Oracle Weblogic is also
known as the Fussion Middleware component in Oracle terms. I have also shown an
important topic related with plugin within the report.
In the third chapter I have recorded the JMS details i.e. Java Messaging Service details as the
server’s one of the component is this. The JMS also details of communication, The API the
methodology etc. has been covered in this chapter.
In the fourth chapter I have explained the Garbage Collection and the Command line
Arguments which can be used in java as well as WLST in Weblogic to control and modify
the memory settings or to look at the current status of the memory. I have also included the
remote starting of the managed server with the help of Node Manager from Weblogic server
within this chapter.

The fifth chapter consists of the security issues that can be tackled with the help of
Weblogic and how the certifications are created and chained to increase the security online
and during data transmission.
The sixth chapter consists of the support patterns which are used in the company to get the
solutions faster and in a standard format for correcting a problem. This chapter also consists
an important topic of customer management and the overview of the major details that have
to be taken into consideration to find out the needs of the customer. This topic also has case
reviews which have been found out and this shows the problems and the solutions to it in a
table.
This report also consists some of the application’s similar codes which are recreated by me as
it was not permitted to get the original codes of the application out of the company and to
document it. Some of the application codes and codes of different similar programs is
documented from Appendices 1 to 5. The final Appendice 6 is the weekly report of my
activities and the topics covered during the internship at KPIT Cummins, Hinjewadi, Pune.

Acknowledgement
I am thankful to Mr. Srikant Mudiraj Sir, who gave me the knowledge and the training during
the course of internship and thus enabled me to understand and grasp the topics easily. I am
honoured to be trained by him and to have learnt a lot not only the technical aspects but also
the about positive attitude and the teaching aspects with calmness. I am also thankful to him
for being my guide during the internship and approve me and my work during the internship.
I have also learnt to be genuinely interested and energetic to learn the subject through him.
I am thankful to Mr. Deepanshu Shrivastav Sir, Anshul & Laxmi Madam, who also taught me
the Product Training with humor and the zest that created atmosphere of learning. I am also
thankful to the OPEC trainers whose individual mention is not possible for their soft-spoken
approach in improving my personality and teaching us the different Customer Management
Skills.
I am thankful to Mr. Hrishikesh Chavan Sir, who gave me the opportunity to work within the
organization. I am also thankful to him to give me guidance and the support during the initial
stage within the organization.
I am thankful to Mr. Tushar Harduley who gave us the way for improvement with the solace
and calmness which made him always approachable and had also given me the opportunity to
make this internship a success.
