My favourite genre of music is Pop music because I like music that has a good rhythm and beat and is fun to dance to and lifts my mood.

Pop music is a highly popular genre of music which has derived from early rock and roll music and it can also contain elements of urban, dance and rock.

The reason I like pop music is because it is usually upbeat, catchy as well as being very contemporary.

Additionally, I also like the genre of musicals as I thoroughly enjoy listening to music that comes from musical theatre shows and some of my favourite include The Book of Mormon, Hairspray, Grease and Wicked. This style of music again is very upbeat and is great for dancing along to and it is also highly enjoyable to listen along to and sing along in my opinion.

However, I am also a fan of 50’s and 60’s music as I like the vintage vibe and this type of music is also very upbeat and energetic.

I like the following artists because their music is catchy, upbeat and has a good rhythm and I also like the style and morals of the artist.

Some of my favourite artists and include Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Adele, Bruno Mars, Sia, Fifth Harmony, Jason Derulo, Ed Sheeran and Rihanna and lots of others too.

I like these artists because I think their music is enjoyable and creative and it also fits within the genre of music which I like.

Honestly, I don’t own many albums because I don’t buy CD’s or download music because I listen to music through the app Spotify. Despite not owning any of the artist's albums I do have songs from each of these artists on my playlists on the app.

The main reason I like these artists is because I like the style of their music and I like the songs that they create. However, I also like some of these artists because I like the fact that they do things for charity and that they appreciate and do nice things for their fans and on the other hand I like some of these artists because I admire their fashion sense or their appearance.

I believe that I found about the majority of these artists either through word of mouth and hearing people rave out their music or through the internet such as seeing their music videos on YouTube, seeing social media posts about them or even through discovering their music when searching for new songs on Spotify. I think that I discovered the majority of the artists that I like through the impact of the internet and social media as this is where the majority of artists have the biggest presence and this is where they promote their music.

I have not had the opportunity to see most of these artists live however, it would love to be able to. The first artist that I saw in concert was Kylie Minogue and I also saw One Direction in concert a few years ago and this summer I am going to see Beyoncé in concert.

I really like their music videos as I think that they are highly enjoyable and some of them are extremely creative. I like the different ideas used in the music videos and I particularly like it when artists try and incorporate a moral message or a narrative into their music videos as I believe that this makes the video more engaging and captivating.

Yes the majority of the artists that I like have websites which they use to promote their tours, new albums and any other work they have been doing. Their websites usually coincide with their image and their album in order to create a ‘look’ for the artist.

I believe that the artists that I like all share a common ideology that what is most important and what they are passionate about it is their music and in addition I believe that these artists also use their fame and popularity to do good things such as visiting their fans who have fatal diseases and are in hospital, giving money to charity and also helping foundations and being ambassadors and role models for their young fans. This leads me to think that the artists that I like all share the same ideology that what is important is the music that they create and also I appreciate the fact that they use their power as pop artists to influence people and make a difference in society and therefore it isn’t necessarily all about making money and it is more about providing a form of entertainment and enjoyment for an audience.
