• My Chemical Romance — american rock band, founded in 2001 in New Jersey. Its structure includes: Gerard Way (vocals), Mikey Way (bass), Frank Iero (rhythm guitar) and Ray Toro (lead guitar). Previous drummer Bob Bryar left the band. After the departure of Bryar was replaced by session drummer Michael Pedikon. September 3, 2011 it became known that Pedikon is no longer a temporary member of the group and leaves. March 22, 2013 the band announced on its official website the collapse of the group.

• Gerard Way was born in Summit, New Jersey, the son of Donna Lee and Donald Way. Later the family moved to Belleville. It has Italian roots of the mother and Scottish on his father. He first started singing in public in the fourth grade, playing the role of Peter Pan in the school play. His maternal grandmother, Elena Lee Rush, Gerard taught to sing, draw and act from early childhood. Gerard was very surprised, realizing that can really sing. Later, Wei recalled: "She taught me everything I know." At school, Gerard was popular, had a reputation as "a fat loser" and was very amorous young man. • Frank Anthony Thomas Iero Jr. was born on October 31, 1981 in Belleville, New Jersey. He grew up a sickly child: suffered from chronic bronchitis and other infections. In adolescence, Frank was discovered by Epstein - Barr virus, resulting in the symptoms were similar to symptoms of mononucleosis.

• Iero Sr. was a musician: his influence, Frank learned to play instruments (first drums, then guitar) and formed the musical tastes. • September 7th, 2010 Iero announced that he and his wife Jamia became parents of twins Cherry and Lily, 7 April 2012, Frank became pope in 3 times, he had a son. Son named Miles.

• Ray Toro was born in Kearney (6 km from the city of Newark), New Jersey, USA, and grew up in a Puerto Rican family. Toro's father worked at the post office in the Department of Shipping. Ray shared his bedroom with his two brothers, and he was inspired to take the guitar, watching as one of his older brothers played compositions such classic rock bands such as, Led Zeppelin. Since his family lived in a disadvantaged area of the city of Belleville (their house was surrounded by neighbors addicts, as well as around the house is a park West Hudson, where every week in the lake found the corpses), the mother of Ray forbade him to walk alone, and he spent his school years in practice playing the guitar and listening to metal and classic rock. Ray also had a passion for film and attended William Paterson University, later to become an editor.

• Michael James Way was born September 10, 1980 in Newark, New Jersey. He - the younger brother of Gerard Way, (ie also half-Scottish / Italian). In addition to this, a kinship with Joe Rogan, a former member of the News Radio (Joe - the son of his mother's cousin Mikey). Growing up, Mikey started working at Barnes & Noble, in addition to what is an already was an intern at Eyeball Records (the company that released their debut album My Chemical Romance «I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love» in 2002). Formation and debut album(2001-2002)

• Members of the group come from cities Bellville and Kearny, New Jersey, with the exception of Bob Bryar, who hails from Chicago, Illinois. Name of My Chemical Romance offered bassist, Mikey Way, borrowing it from the book by Irvine Welsh «Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance».

• The first song they wrote was «Skylines and Turnstiles» (written by Gerard after the September 11 tragedy, which he witnessed was what caused him to completely revise their outlook on life and make music). Soon they were joined by guitarist Ray Toro, an old friend of Gerard. • In 2003 the band signed with Reprise Records. After a tour with Avenged Sevenfold the band began work on their second album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The album was released in 2004 and went platinum within a year. With the album was released four singles: «Thank You for the Venom», «I'm Not Okay (I Promise)», «Helena» and «The Ghost of You».

• After the concerts in Japan in August 2004. Matt Pelisser was replaced by Bob Bryar. • In October 2006, released their third album, My Chemical Romance The Black Parade, which was produced by Rob Cavallo (Rob Cavallo), known for his work with Green Day. • November 22, 2010 My Chemical Romance released fourth studio album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, produced by, as the previous drive, Rob Cavallo. The first single «Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)» released September 2, 2010. The video for the song on October 14 on MTV. November 17 on MTV premiered the video for the song «Sing». Also from the album was released two more singles: «Planetary (Go!)», «The Only Hope For Me Is You». The latter became the soundtrack for the film "Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.“

• At the moment the band is on tour, called The World Contamination Tour.
