MY ACTION PROPOSAL

About my action:My topic is about counteract the air

pollution by riding bicycle to school, I go to school at 6:15 a.m. and arrived at 7:05 a.m. the distance are 4 until 5 km, I think my speed when riding bicycle is 20 km until 40 km per 1 hour.

My prior knowledge about air pollution:

• Air pollution is killing living things • Some transportation produce pollutants as air pollutions • Many people are sick because of the air pollution• Trees obsorbs air pollution which contain CO2• It can be produced from garbage• It hits the respiratory system• Air pollution is greenhouse gasses• The greenhouse gasses are methane, CO2 and CFC• It makes the ozone layers thicker

Problem

My mom and I usually go to school by car, but the distance is actually near. Many cars and motorbikes are going around, come here, come there but they don’t care about the earth. In 5 minutes there are around 200 transportation used based on my observation.

BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE CHOSEN TOPIC:

Air pollution is one of the pollutions, there are some invisible and some visible pollutions. Air pollution is very damaging the living things and the atmosphere, the main pollutants are from greenhouse gasses. Almost 60% pollutants such as methane, CO2 and CFC are produced by the air pollution. Many people are smoking that make our air polluted and also transportation pollutants can make greenhouse gasses that can make global warming to the earth.

Answer of My Questions Thinking Hats

• The air pollutions come from many things. It can come from the transportation, smoke, people and sometimes animal.

• We feel upset because why we need to produce air pollution from what do we have and used such as car, many people smoking and lazy to riding or walking to other places.

• ????????????????????• Many people get sick because we breathe the polluted air, our

ozone layers were has many hole because of the air pollution.• We need to riding bicycle or walking to school or somewhere to

counteract the air pollution.• Bad, because we are a living things that need the fresh air,

because of the air pollution wee breathe polluted air.

People chopping down trees and the CO2 goes to the air easily, the trees need to absorb air pollution.

Animals need to migrate to other places and many animals died.

If all people riding bicycle, it will counteract the air pollution since it does not use any fuel and so we will be healthier.

People must stop illegal logging and we need to planting more trees, we can recycle rubbish too so there will be not toomuch rubbish.

We need riding bicycle because many transportation usually produce air pollution like CO2 and using gasoline, we riding bicycle to saving gasoline too.

I’m riding a bike to school that the distance is about 4 km in 1 hour.

I ride bicycle only every Friday as the start to counteract air pollution.

When I rode home my bike was broken and I need to push it 2 km long. Riding bicycle is not easy.

I feel tired but also great because I have done part of the action that I need to do.

I must riding bike to school faster and I must make my body fit and stronger.

If we do action we must know the risk like coming late or broken bike.

I feel tired after pushing my bike.

I’m riding bike to school that 4 km long with 50 minutes to go to school. It is faster than last week.

I have learnt that I need to bring raincoat to do my action in wet season.

I feel very sad when I forgot to bring my raincoat so I was wet when arriving at school.

I need to keep doing the same thing but I need to remember what things that I need to bring to make my action successful.
