EDITOR’S MESSAGE
A thought that has been enduring in mind when it becomes real; is truly an
interesting and exciting experience. This magazine “Drizzle” was one such cherished
work that had its roots in the persuasion. It would be a snapshot of the various
activities and advancements for all associated with MVSIT. Proper communication
plays a vital role in institution’s development. Drizzle will serve to reinforce and
allow increased awareness, improved interaction and integration among all of us.
Usually we fail to appreciate the good deeds of many people and activities that
happen around us as we are engaged in irrelevant talks and assumptions. It could all
change if we just pause to think of what is our contribution to the society from which
we have been gifted with this blessed life. The progress of the society mainly
depends on many people who are working behind the scenes, overtime round the
clock planning things to the smallest. Drizzle will be a medium to provide proper
acknowledgement and respect all of these efforts and its results.
This maiden issue of Drizzle should inspire all of us for a new beginning enlighten
with hope, confidence and faith in each other in the road ahead......
Happy Reading!

When I was a kid,
I promised I won’t be a parent like
mine,
I will be accepting, cool and fine.
It’s about my child’s confidence in me
after all,
I would never let this relationship
fall.
I will give my child freedom and
space,
So that she can grow up in grace.
I was doing a good job,
until she asked for a night stay.
Night stay??
She is a kid;
she can go out and play,
I had to refuse because I care,
I won’t allow any nonsense,
anyone dare.
She questioned me back and asked
why?
And to top it up, with her tears and
cry,
I still did not allow her to go.
Then no matter how much would she
blow,
She has to realize that she is my
daughter.
Good or bad but I am her life sorter,
It was shocking when I saw her with a
guy alone,
It took me to a different zone,
I have to tell her difference between
wrong and right.
I won’t let her spoil her future,
it has to be bright,
She got angry when I asked,
She said it’s ok MOM,
the world is so fast.
Then she stopped sharing things with
me now,
Questions in my heart,
why did she change and how?
I could not understand her behavior.
I am her father, her well wisher, her
savior,
I was in a big trap,
As I could not understand this
generation gap.

HATE
Hate knows,
No geography,
No religion,
No humanity
Hate doesn't know, "are you Hindu,
Muslim or Christian.
Hate is like a creepy sky Who has no
limits
Boston or Beirut bombings Everytime
innocent ones die.
It may be desert of Seriya or
mountains of Kashmir,
Everywhere blood has same color.
N every time same result,
Every time innocent ones die.
In Paris or Pakistan or India or
Afghanistan
Lives should have same value Innocent
ones die.
It may be 26/11 or 9/11
Every time they thinks,
they'll get heaven.
But How,
By killing innocent ones.
No way,
It's really wrong way.
Religion never say to hate Insaan
It may be Geeta, Bible or Quran.
Hate starts from our useless desires in
the shadow of these creepy desires
World is no longer safe.
At present, Terrorism is one of biggest
tension
Whole world is under it's bad influence
or dangerous weapons.
Because everytime innocent ones die.
So, we have to stand together against it
To finish it, may be ISIS,Talibaan or
another creepyshit.

I RISE
You may write me down in history
With your bitter,
twisted lies,
You may told me in the very dirt
But still,
like dust,
I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard 'Cause I
laugh like I've got gold mines
Digging' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your
hatefulness,
But still,
like air,
I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame,
I rise Up from a past that's rooted in
pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean,
leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the
tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror
andfear I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrouslyclear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors
gave, I am the dream and the hope of
theslave.
I rise ,
I rise ,
I rise.

THE EMPOWERED WOMEN
The empowered woman,
she moves through the world With a sense
of confidence and grace.
Her once reckless spirit now
tempered by wisdom Quietly,
yet firmly,
she speaks the truth without doubt
orhesitation
And the life she leads is of her own
creation.
She now understands what it means to
liveAnd let live.
How much to ask for herself and how
much to give.
She has a strong,
yet generous heartAnd the inner beauty
she emanates truly sets her apart.
Like the mythical phoenix.
She has risen from the ashes and soared to
a new plane of existence,
Unfettered by the things that once posed
such resistance.
Her senses now heightened.
She sees everything so clearly.
She hears the wind rustling through the
trees;
Beckoning her to live the dreams, she
holds so dearly.
She feels the softness of her hands and
muses at the strength those they posses.
Her needs and desires she has learned to
express.
She has tasted the bitter and savoured the
sweet fruits of life,
Overcome adversity and pushed past
heartache and strife.
And the one thing she never understood.
She now knows to be true,
It all begins and end withyou.

ARTIFICIAL PLANTS
Remembering those days,
When days were bright,
Trees were green & soothing to the eyes
Birds flying and chirping across the sky
Flowers were brilliantly colorful,
I used to chase the butterflies
In my childhood fun;
Green was my playground
There I used to roll and lay
Just to see the sky
Vast blue empty space-
Scattered white clouds
Like angels from the heaven
A place to see
Illogically logical childhood dreams
Then touch of breeze felt like
Caress of mother -nature;
Standing and looking at a ground
Full of dust and broken stones
Laying there in confusion like this era
Over there few children are playing
Trying to compensate the green
By their innocent jubilant greenery No
chirping birds
No butterflies roaming
Try to find some flowers but I hardly find one
Trees are green, but not green Enough
Covered by the dust Like hunted by
disease;
Sky is now square like my window Can see
it over the neighbor’s roof No soothing
breeze
Rather nature’s angry warm wind Dust
folded earth
In the malady of this period Where are
those days?
My green childhood years Gone with
thetime
And never to come back We are developing
though We aredeveloped-
We make skyscrapers of various designs
But can’t plant a tree Time is money
So no time to water it
So we place artificial plants in our houses
Just to resembling the nature
As I put a picture of my childhood Just
beside my bed.
