1.1 General information ¡ Read this instruction manual carefully. ¡ Observe the instructions for the base unit.
1.2 Intended use Only use the accessories: ¡ with a food processor from the same series MUMS2, MUMS4,
MUM5. ¡ With genuine parts and accessories. ¡ For cutting up, chopping, mixing, puréeing and emulsifying li-
quid or semi-solid food. ¡ For crushing ice cubes.
1.3 Safety instructions Observe the following safety instructions.
WARNING  Risk of cutting! The blender knife has sharp blades. When cleaning and emptying the blender jug, watch out for the
sharp blades. Never touch the edges of the blades with bare hands.
WARNING  Risk of injury! Improper use may cause injuries. Never assemble the accessories on the base unit. Only attach and remove accessories once the drive has
stopped and the appliance has been unplugged. Only use the accessories once fully assembled. The accessories should only be used in the intended operating
position. Never reach into the fitted accessory. Never operate the accessory without fitting the lid.

WARNING  Risk of scalding! Hot food may splash out during processing and steam can es- cape from the lid. Add a maximum of 500 ml of hot or frothing food. Process hot food carefully. Do not lean over the appliance.

hard components, e.g. bones. Do not process frozen ingredients,
apart from ice cubes. Do not insert any objects into the
blender jug, e.g. wooden spoons. Before use, check the blender jug
for foreign objects.

3.1 Unpacking the accessor- ies and parts
1. Take the accessories out of the packaging.
2. Take all other parts and the ac- companying documents out of the packaging and place them to hand.
3. Remove any packaging material. 4. Remove any stickers or film.
3.2 Contents of package After unpacking all parts, check for any damage in transit and complete- ness of the delivery. → Fig. 1

Prepare the base unit and the ac- cessories for use.
5.1 Overview of base units You can prepare your kitchen ma- chine as shown. → Fig. 3

5.2 Fitting blender attach- ment to the base unit
WARNING Risk of injury! Improper use may cause injuries. Only attach and remove accessor-
ies once the drive has stopped and the appliance has been un- plugged.
1. Place the blender attachment on drive 3 as shown. → Fig. 4 Markings and must match up.
2. Push the blender attachment and turn down anticlockwise until it en- gages. → Fig. 5 Markings and must match up.
Basic operation
6.1 Processing food using the blender attachment
Note: Take note of the recommended speeds. → "Application examples", Page 10 1. Prepare your food.
Cut up large items of food. 2. Add the food to the blender jug.
→ Fig. 6 3. Insert the funnel in the lid and
place the lid on the blender jug. → Fig. 7
4. Rotate the lid anticlockwise until it engages. → Fig. 8 The lid must be completely closed.
5. Insert the mains plug. 6. Set the rotary switch to the recom-
mended speed. → Fig. 9
7. Process the ingredients until you achieve the required result.

6.2 Adding more ingredients 1. To add more ingredients during
processing, select one of the fol- lowing options: Add liquids through the funnel in
the lid. Take out the funnel and add
solid ingredients through the opening.

rotary switch to . Wait until the appliance stops.
3. Rotate the lid clockwise and re- move.

4. Add the ingredients as described and continue processing. → "Processing food using the blender attachment", Page 9
6.3 Emptying the blender at- tachment
1. Unplug the mains plug. 2. Rotate the blender attachment
clockwise until it disengages. → Fig. 12
3. Remove the blender attachment from the base unit. → Fig. 13
4. Rotate the lid clockwise and re- move. → Fig. 14
5. Place the processed food in a suit- able container or serve immedi- ately. → Fig. 15
Tips ¡ Clean all parts immediately after
use so that residues do not dry on. ¡ To preclean, pour a little detergent
solution into the blender jug and switch the appliance on for a few seconds.

7.1 Cleaning products Find out here what cleaning agents are suitable for your accessories.
ATTENTION! Using unsuitable cleaning agents or incorrect cleaning may damage the accessories. Do not use cleaning agents con-
taining alcohol or spirits. Do not use sharp, pointed or metal
objects.
Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaning agents.

ATTENTION! Using unsuitable food may damage the appliance. Do not process food that is hotter
than 70 °C in the blender jug.
Note Restrictions on processing: ¡ Do not use it to chop ingredients
like almonds, onions, parsley and meat.
¡ The blender cannot produce spreads, such as peanut butter, coconut butter or nut spreads.
¡ Use enough liquid when mixing solid food.
¡ Mix powdered food with sufficient liquid before blending, or dissolve it entirely in liquid. Examples of powdered food include icing sugar, cocoa powder, roasted soy- beans, flour, protein powder.

AMARAN  Risiko kecederaan! Penggunaan yang tidak betul boleh menyebabkan kecederaan. Jangan sesekali pasang aksesori pada unit asas. Hanya pasang dan tanggalkan aksesori semasa pemacu
berhenti dan peranti tidak terpasang. Gunakan aksesori hanya apabila dipasang sepenuhnya. Hanya gunakan aksesori pada kedudukan kerja yang
dimaksudkan. Jangan sampai ke aksesori yang terpasang. Jangan sesekali mengendalikan aksesori tanpa penutup yang
dipasang.

3.1 Buka pembungkusan aksesori dan komponen

1. Letakkan alat tambah pengadun seperti yang ditunjukkan pada pemacu 3. → Raj. 4 Penandaan dan mesti diselaraskan antara satu sama lain.
2. Tekan alat tambah pengadun ke bawah dan putar mengikut arah lawan jam sehingga terpasang pada tempatnya. → Raj. 5 Penandaan dan mesti diselaraskan antara satu sama lain.

6.1 Proses makanan dengan alat tambah pengadun
Nota: Hati-hati cadangan kelajuan. → "Contoh penggunaan", Halaman 15 1. Sediakan makanan.
Potong makanan besar menjadi kepingan.
2. Masukkan makanan ke dalam bekas pengadun. → Raj. 6
3. Masukkan corong tuang pada penutup dan letakkan penutup pada bekas pengadun. → Raj. 7
4. Putar penutup mengikut arah lawan jam sehingga terpasang pada tempatnya. → Raj. 8 Tudung mesti ditutup sepenuhnya.
5. Pasangkan palam kuasa. 6. Tetapkan suis putar ke kelajuan

3. Putar penutup mengikut arah jam dan tanggalkan.

6.3 Kosongkan alat tambah pengadun
1. Tanggalkan plag. 2. Putar alat pengadun mengikut
arah jam sehingga longgar. → Raj. 12
3. Tanggalkan lampiran pengadun dari peranti asas. → Raj. 13
4. Putar penutup mengikut arah jam dan tanggalkan. → Raj. 14
5. Masukkan makanan yang diproses ke dalam bekas yang sesuai atau hidangkan terus. → Raj. 15
Petua ¡ Bersihkan semua bahagian sebaik
sahaja digunakan sehingga sisa tidak kering.
¡ Isi sedikit air sabun ke dalam bekas pengadun untuk prapembersihan dan hidupkan peranti untuk beberapa saat.

7.1 Agen pembersih Ketahui agen pembersih yang sesuai untuk aksesori anda.
PERHATIAN! Agen pembersih yang tidak sesuai atau pembersihan yang tidak betul boleh merosakkan aksesori. Jangan gunakan agen pembersih
yang mengandungi alkohol. Jangan gunakan objek tajam,
berbucu atau logam. Jangan gunakan kain atau agen
pembersih yang melelas.
