How Does Your
Sponsorship Help?
$7500 Provides 15,000 pounds of food
for Dakin’s Pet Food Bank –
distributed weekly to low-income families
to feed their animals.
$5000 Provides spay/neuter surgery for
100 dogs, to help control the pet
population.
$2500 Provides life-saving x-rays
for 25 animals that have a traumatic injury.
$1500 Provides routine medical care for
20 cats-kittens including: spay or neuter
surgery, feline leukemia and FIV testing,
dewormer, and a rabies and distemper
vaccinations.
$625 Purchases 25 reusable heating disks
that keep orphaned kittens warm
while they are alone and missing the
comfort of their mom.
$513 Covers the cost of care for 1 animal
awaiting adoption at Dakin.

What is Mutts & Mimosas? The 3rd Annual Mutts & Mimosas event is expected
to attract 200 guests and their dogs for brunch and mimosas! Brunch for
people and dogs, mimosas, silent auction, raffle, farm stand, apple picking, as
well as fun activities for guests and their best buddies!
Who is Dakin Humane Society? With locations in both Springfield and Leverett,
Dakin is committed to helping animals and people in need. Our programs
include low-cost vaccine and spay/neuter clinics, pet food bank, educational
programs, dog training and workshops, and of course, providing loving homes
to our homeless animals.
