Pre-Installed PluginsPlugins that come with a WordPress v3.8 install: (Demo)
Akismet: Blocks Comment and Trackback Spams. Free for personal sites. Starting from $5/Month for commercial ones. Keep this if your site is personal - if not use Disqus -FREE- (Disqus uses its own anti-spam software
to smartly combat comment spam)Hello Dolly: Random lyrics - plugin by WordPress founder
WP Super Cache: Can do the job - but there is a more popular one. Will go in detail on the “Cache” slide
Pre-Installed PluginsJetPack by WordPress.com: A plugin pack by WordPress.com. They called it : “Super Plugin” - 3.9/5 stars from 1300 reviews.
● It is a heavy multipack plugin and keeps getting bigger with new modules making the site slow
● All modules auto activated - deactivating them is a process
● Possible conflicts with other plugins● Requires a WordPress.com account● Marketing banners are annoying
Instead of going on the super plugin path, picking the best individual plugins on every area (SEO,cache etc.) is a better idea
