Seit 1984 ist die französische, dennoch auf Englisch singende Band bereits aktiv und besticht durch eine gekonnte und packende Schnittmenge aus Hardrock und Heavy Metal. 1986 tauchten sie in den Top Ten der wichtigsten einheimischen Bands im Enfer Magazin auf und 1988 tourte man durch die USA, wo man unter Anderem im berühmten Whiskey A Go Go auftrat. Auch für die Dygitals waren die Neunziger mit Grunge und Co fast ein Todesurteil, aber man kehrte 2003 gestärkt zurück und veröffentlichte in Folge zwei Alben auf Mausoleum Records, die in Frankreich zu Topsellern wurden. Ebenso „Avé“ auf Brennus Records (2012), bevor man mit „Dynamite“ (2015) wieder zu Mausoleum zurückkehrte. Nun erscheint das neue Werk „God Save The King“ bei Golden Core/ZYX, welches nicht nur durch packende und schlüssige Songs besticht, sondern auch durch eine druckvolle, aber natürliche und ehrliche Produktion. Nach all den Jahren haben sich Dygitals ihre Spielfreude bewahrt, die sich mit voller Energie auf den Hörer überträgt, ohne dabei das Rad neu erfinden zu müssen. Die CD enthält neben einem umfassenden Booklet auch zwei unveröffentlichte Bonustracks.

Uk old-school rockers AIRFORCE have joined forces with Pitch Black Records for the release of the band´s new album, their second full-length since reforming in 2016.

AIRFORCE stem originally from the NWOBHM era back in the 80´s with the band´s style best described as Old School Metal at its best, full of hooks, riffs and soaring melodies!

The band was originally formed in 1986 by Tony Hatton (bass), Chop Pitman (guitars) and legendary drummer Doug Sampson (ex- Iron Maiden).

The AIRFORCE line-up now includes the extremely talented vocalist Flavio Lino who recently joined the band on a permanent basis.“Strike Hard” features a number of guest appearances, starting with Paul Di’ Anno (ex- Iron Maiden vocalist) and former AIRFORCE vocalist Ivan Giannini (now of Vision Divine).

The CD version of the album features a bonus track which is a cover of “Faith Healer”, a classic Sensational Alex Harvey Band song. This recording includes a guest appearance by the original SAHB guitarist Zal Cleminson.
