We would like to offer you and your pupils the opportunity to take part in one of our music workshops with our experienced, industry standard tutors.

Workshops available include:

INTRODUCTION TO DJ TECHNOLOGY

Each workshop is free of charge and would consist of a one or three hour practical class followed by an optional question and answer session with the tutor.One hour workshops can be delivered at your school and three hour workshops can be delivered at our Shena Simon campus in Central Manchester using our industry standard music equipment and facilities.

Vocal Skills | One hour | Your schoolLearn how to warm up properly and safely use your voice.Meet current voice students who will perform for you and discuss their experiences of studying music at TMC.

Voice Skills | Three hours | Shena Simon CampusOne hour session plus:Develop performance skills and vocal technique in solo performance.Perform solo to an audience!

Song Writing | One hour | Your schoolLevel 3 Performance students will perform their original music for you. Discover techniques used to inspire song writing and develop compositional skills.

Song Writing | Three hours | Shena Simon CampusOne hour session plus:Develop your song writing skills working in teams to write and original song with the help of staff and current music performance students.Have the opportunity to perform your original song to an audience and gain feedback.

Guitar Masterclass | One hour | Your schoolLevel 3 Guitar students will perform for you and outline the techniques used within their performances. Discover the different playing styles of some of the most famous guitarists in music history and uncover the techniques they use in their performances.

Guitar Masterclass | Three hours | Shena Simon CampusOne hour session plus:Develop your technique by practicing these skills with the support of TMC staff and students. Create your own practice routine to get yourself audition ready.

Sequencing Masterclass | One hour | Your schoolGain an insight into industry standard music technologies.Get creative and make your own movie style sound effects.

Sequencing Masterclass | Three hours | Shena Simon CampusOne hour session plus:Explore the possibilities of sequencing software by turning your sounds into music.
