• A concept music video is a video that has a plot that doesn't relate with the lyrics, for example

As you can see the red hot chilly peppers use a conceptual music video idea best shown In this image, as this scene is shown the lyrics use are “chose no life of imitation” I see no relation to this image another example is the line “wait a minute I'm passing out win or lose” this line shows no relation to the line.

PERFORMANCE

• A performance music video is when the artist lip sync and play the instruments with the track to look like they were preforming on stage, for example. In the song all the small things by

blink 182 they do a performance based scene several times, the way its done is a backing track is used for sound but they preform the actions as if they were on stage

• Narrative is when the music video tells the story were the lyrics relate to the scene un like concept, for example.

In the song teenage dirt bag by Wheatus is a narrative through out the actions of the actors relates to the line in the lyrics for example “I have two tickets to iron maiden” the actress as this line is said is holding two tickets
