Song Choice

✤ The song we have chosen is Beverly Knight’s Fallen Soldier. We have chose this because, we think we can create a emotive but minimalist music video.

Location.

✤ The location to which we decided to film our Music Video is in a dark room. The reason we chose this is because we want the background to reflect the emotion and tone of the song with lighting.

a clip taken from Rhianna’s R&B video take a bow.

Overall Vision.✤ Begin with a black room, girl standing against the wall, with a spotlight

showing some of her face/ body

✤ Mixture of close ups and pan ups

✤ Performing into camera

✤ camera moves to book on table

✤ ‘go into the book’ and see different scenes in the book. Some of the scenes would end in drawn animation (like a sketch)

✤ In addition to this we would have some of the lyrics written on the pages of the book in handwriting.

Why do you think it will hold the audience’s attention?

✤ Even though the idea of our video can seem a bit simple, we believe that using different camera angles to keep it interesting. Also using a slight animation in the pages of the book and the different scenes within the book will make it more gripping to the audience.

✤ The fact that our artist will also be performing to the audience will grab their attention.
