WHAT’S INCLUDED This program allows you to explore aspects such as rhythm, melody, harmony, scales, tonal systems, intervals, and ear training. You will also focus on creating music electronically, which is universally applicable to the creation of every musical genre today. This program can give you a huge advantage when applying to music universities and colleges and through this week-long class students will create numerous compositions in differing genres. TUITION Students will take part in at least 25 hours of practical lectures and rehearsals focused on both playing instruments and producing sound recordings. CERTIFICATE Awarded for the successful completion of the course. EXCURSIONS Excursions allow students to get to know the USA. Students will find historic and cultural information through guided walking tours and visits to places of interest. ACTIVITIES We offer a variety of onsite evening activities including sports, discos and team games. Our activities provide opportunities for students to have fun and make international friends.     LEARN FROM PROFESSIONALS The Music Theory, Technology and Production course will be taught by Skip Lewan who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music. Skip has worked with award-winning composer Yuval Ron, on the Color Therapy project by Samsung, and has composed original scores for award-winning films. He is a member of the Boston-based vocal group Green Line X-Tension as well as the

    pianist at the King’s Chapel in downtown Boston.

    BROADEN YOUR SKILLS IN THE INDUSTRY In today’s music industry it is rare to find an artist who writes all of their own music, and with the

    innovations in music technology, new genres of music and ways of composition have emerged. This class will analyze and explore some of these changes and how they have affected the music we

    listen to today. Students will use Logic Pro, a music industry standard program, to create music in many different genres.

    DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS IN: Rhythm, melody, harmony, scales, tonal systems, intervals, ear training, composition, orchestration,

    mixing, mastering, and sequencing.

    ORCHESTRATIONStudents will learn about instrumentation, transposition, scoring and arranging.

    COMPOSITIONStudents will create melody, harmony, rhythm.
