The Components of Form

Verse- The major vehicle for conveying the information of the song while leading it into the pre chorus or chorus.

Pre-chorus- The climb or pre chorus set up that keeps the song sounding fresh. It usually includes a melodic shift.

Chorus- Focuses the essence and meaning of the song into a simple and easily remembered statement. Also includes a melodic shift.

Bridge- Helps relieve the boredom factor when people may begin to get tired of the melodic repetition.

2.Keep the information simple enough for people to remember easily.

3. They need to distill and focus the song.

4. They need to stand repetition.

5. The words of the chorus need to be easily remembered.
