History In the 1980’s folk music was discovered by the west

Through the 1980’s music became more popular and then it spread

throughout Africa and developed around the world.

Culture and language are put into the songs

Music was a way to show their culture such as how they sing or dance

Drums were used to symbolize communication

Over decades religion, communication were in their music and they still are.
