Take heart! Rejoice! God is near! Live
faithfully and without anxiety. These words
are addressed to people in difficult situations,
in different times and places. The words are
for us, too. God has already come in Jesus,
but we still have expectations of something
more. In the midst of that, the message to us
is to stand firm and rejoice in what is now.
“I am baptizing you with water, but one mightier that I is coming.”
First Reading from Zephaniah 3:14-18
God is with His faithful people.
Second Reading from Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice always, for God is near.
Gospel from Luke 3:10-18
John prepares the way for Jesus.
TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE.

IMPORTANCE OF REGISTERING AS A PARISHIONER
Filling out the Parishioner Form to
register in the parish clearly announces
your arrival in our parish and enables
the parish priest and staff to
communicate with you. In other words,
we may recognize your face at Mass, but
help us put a name with the face!
This communication is very important to
our parish family and assures the
family/individual of full status as a
parishioner and enables the priest and parish staff to make
available rights and privileges guaranteed by Church law. Canon
Law and diocesan policy in some instances require full
parish membership before some sacraments may be
administered. This is particularly true of Baptism,
Confirmation, Marriage and Holy Orders.
So please take a few moments of your time to fill out the
online registration form (go to our website) or by coming
by the parish office to fill it out!
We look forward to meeting you!
