Preceptor Workshop Registration Directions 1. Log into your HealthStream account. 2. Click on Catalog Audience: All Munson Healthcare staff are welcome! RN participants will receive 7 contact hours (must be present for the entire workshop and complete course evaluation). Munson Medical Center is an approved provider of Learner Outcomes: Upon conclusion of Preceptor Workshop, participants will self-report: Knowledge gain on the various roles, responsibilities, and expectations of both the preceptor and orientee during the preceptorship (orientation period). Knowledge gain on methods used to assess an orientee’s specific learning needs, and adjust current teaching methods and/or education plans to meet mutually defined short, and long-term orientation goals. Knowledge gain on a variety of teaching, learning, and socialization strategies to support the orientee as he/she adjusts to their new working environment, role and responsibilities. Intent to establish best practice for training staff by using principles of Emotional Intelligence and DiSC to overcome potential interpersonal obstacles and enhance relationships with both orientees and established staff. Knowledge gain on the fundamentals of communication and techniques to inspire constructive and meaningful feedback and performance evaluation. How to Un-Enroll for the Preceptor WorkshopUn-enrolling for the Preceptor Workshop (when you know in advance you are unable to attend) creates an open seat for another individual who may be able to attend. If you need to un-enroll, please follow the directions below.
1. Log into your HealthStream Account.
2. Find and click on the Preceptor Workshop course under your “My To-Do List”
3. Click on Drop Class
4. Click on Yes, drop this class
5. When you see this box, you have successfully un-enrolled for the Preceptor Workshop
