MSDO Elevator Speech
MSDO is an organization of municipal service delivery officials who create, manage and/or support municipal service delivery initiatives across Canada
MSDO provides a forum for members to share experiences and knowledge, and provides a unified voice for municipal service delivery officials to other groups
Brief History of MSDO
2002 - Service delivery managers in southern Ontario meet informally
2005 - Service delivery managers of six large Canadian cities meet
2006 – 2010 - Additional municipalities across Canada participate in annual meetings
2010 - Registered as a legal entity
MSDO Structure Pan-Canadian; No regional chapters Municipal members
One vote per municipality Membership fee based on population (ranges from $150 to
$1,000)
Affiliate members Other public sector or related groups approved by the Board No voting rights Fixed membership fee ($375)
