Each group chose a piece of literature, thus the whole project was based upon 9 different works. During the implementation of the project children played games, made educational trips, learned about different occupations and traditions. Children attentively lisened to the tale by H. C. Andersen „Five Peas from a Pod”. Next theylearned how a plant develops. They checked the features of fresh, dried and canned peas

(structure, smell, colour, shape and firmness). They made from vegetables a portrait of theheroine. They used cooked vegetablessuch as peas, carrots, parsley and celery. After the exhibition

they ate their works. The children also illustrated their own book. Each child drew one selected episode and in the end they put the episodes in the right order. Inspired by the tale, kids planted their own peas- making two types of cultivation- traditional and hydroponik. Now they are waiting

for the plants to sprourt.
