Munga, the bush monster, was all alone. He did not know of any other creature like him.He had knobbly scales like a crocodile,bulging eyes like a toad, a bumpy hump like a camel, and tiny bird’s feet.

Munga always carried an old piece of carpetthat he’d kept since he was little because it made him feel safe.

Munga lived in an old shed by a waterhole. It was freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer.And it was lonely all year round.
