In addition to seeing growth in my customer base and excitement within our local organizations, I am also so excited to see the program itself grow and develop. I am excited to create the same buzz in my new assignment in Colorado. Our plan is to make a difference by being environmentally responsible, while generating new revenue streams for our brand on both the residential and commercial sides. I welcome the Multicultural Marketing Program in Denver as another tool in our sales strategy “tool box.” Chicago recently joined our sister companies in offering culture competency train- ing to members of our teams. I am confident that these two programs will add revenue and market share to our operations.” Spring is considered a time of renewal. For those of us in sales and/or marketing, it could mean a time to look at what marketing tools and programs are effective, which ones are not, what new tools are available and what are some that have been available for some time and that I have not incorporated or included in my sales tool box. Both the Multicultural Marketing and FNF Green are programs that you may have placed in the back burner. I am pleased to inform you that there’s a revised Key Programs and Service flyer for the Multicultural Marketing Program- MMP, and FNF Green is very close to taking to market a second product. The first product was the LEED Data Report. You can find information on both of these programs in the Multicultural Marketing Resource Center and the Green Resource Center, both SharePoint sites in our Home.FNF intranet. “Renewal” can also mean a time to polish or enhance our skills. And because the culture in Houston, Texas is different from Oakland, California, or from the U.S and China, or Russia and Mexico, we should learn and understand cultural differences and how to work with people who are different from you and me, and different beyond ethnicity. Where am I going with this topic? I am making a call to action to our operation leaders, so that members of our sales and escrow team can participate in the workshop Culture Competencies for Today’s Market Place. This 3-hour training that will give our employees some skills and confidence to work with people of different cultures and background. The training also provides you with demographics on the “emerged” markets and with tips on working with individuals of Latino and Asian backgrounds. Please contact me for more information on this training. On a Green note, · FNF Green was recently nominated to win the Urban Land Institute Orange County/Inland Empire Best of the Best Award.
