THE SOLUTIONCHALLENGESA midsize German machining workshop specialises in machining a large array of materials including aluminium, bronze, brass, steel and plastic. The customer has 30 CNC machines requiring 7.5 tons of coolant each year and was actively looking to solve the following challenges: » Skin irritation of operators

Based on regular visits and technical support together with a local distributor, Quaker analyzed the customer’s challenges and introduced QUAKERCOOL® 7350 BFF, a new boron-free and formaldehyde-free coolant ideal for general purpose machining of most engineering materials. After successfully running QUAKERCOOL® 7350 BFF in four machines that machine plastic, the customer expanded the use of the product to the remaining machines and realized the following: » Very good skin compatibility

» Good flushing and washing behavior

» Eliminated foam problems while processing plastics

THE PRODUCT QUAKERCOOL® 7350 BFF is a high performance micro-emulsion ideally suited to all operations where high surface finish quality and high lubrication is needed. QUAKERCOOL® 7350 BFF is ideal for general purpose machining of most engineering materials and is recommended for light to medium metalworking operations on cast iron, steel and aluminum.
