Mughal • Babur was the founder of

Mughal Empire.

• He was related to Timur from his father’s side and ChengizKhan to his mother’s side.

• His original name was Zahiruddin Muhammad.

• In 1494 at the age of 11, Babur became the ruler of Farghana

• succeeding Umar Shaikh Mirza, his father.

• Daulat Khan, the most powerful noble of Punjab, who was discontented with Ibrahim Lodhi, invited Babur to invade India.

• On 21st April 1526, Babur defeated Ibrahim Lodi in the first Battle of Panipat and quickly occupied Delhi.

• The First Battle of Panipat marked the foundation of Mughal dominion in India.

• Babur conquered Delhi and sent his son Humayun to seize Agra.

• Babur announced himself as “Emperor of Hindustan”.

• पानीपत की पहली लडाई ने भारत मेंमुगल साम्राज्य की नीवं रखी।

• बाबर ने पदल्ली पर पवजय प्राप्त कीऔर अपने पुि हुमायूाँ को आगराकब्जाने के पलए भेजा।

• बाबर ने खुद को "पहंदुस्तान कासम्राट" घोपित पकया।

• He defeated Rana Sanga of Mewar in Battle of Khanua in 1527 near Agra.

• He then assumed the title of ‘Ghazi’.

• Babur also defeated the Afgans in battle of Ghagra in Bihar.

• Babur wrote his memoirs in Tuzuk-i-Baburi in Turki language, describing the flora and fauna of India.

• The battle of Chanderi was fought between Medini Rai, a key ally of Rana Sanga, and Babur in 1528.

• On December 26, 1530, Babur died at Agra aged 40.

• His body was first laid at Arambagh in Agra, but was later taken to Kabul, where it was buried.

Humayun

• He was the eldest son of Babur and ascended the throne in 1530.

• Humayun means “fortune” but he remained the most unfortunate ruler of the Mughal Empire.

• 26 पदसंबर, 1530 को आगरा में40 विा की आयु में बाबर की मृतु्यहो गई।

• उसका शरीर पहले आगरा केआरामबाग में रखा गया था, लेपकनबाद में उसे काबुल ले जाया गया, जहााँ उसे दफनाया गया।

हुमायंू

• वह बाबर का सबसे बडा पुि थाऔर 1530 में पसंहासन पर बैठा।

• हुमायूाँ का अथा होता है “भाग्य” लेपकन वह मुगल साम्राज्य का सबसेदुभााग्यशाली शासक पनकला।

• In the Battle of Chausa, held in 1539, Sher Khan destroyed the Mughal army and Humayun escaped from there.

• In 1540, in the Battle of Bilgramor Ganges also known as Battle of Kanauj, Humayun was forced to fight with Sher Khan alone and after losing his kingdom, Humayun became an exile for the next fifteen years.
