Mudroom checklist

Ideal mudroom should contain the following

● A designated cubby for each family member to stow gear● A bench to sit on. (It should be a minimum of 15 inch deep)● Hooks for coats and hats● A place to leave snowy or muddy boots● A shoe garage for a no-shoes household● A warm, dry spot for the dog's crate and pet food● A shelf or hook for leaving keys and pocketbooks● An emergency kit: flashlight, candles, and battery run radio● The dinner bell to call the kids in for supper● A clock and a mirror for last minute checks● An umbrella stand
