Building Procedure1. Discuss the design of the rocket.

2. Measure the fins.

3. Cut out the fins and tape them on the rocket.

4. Measure the oak tag and make the cone.

5. Put padding in cone.

6. Make the payload and tape it to the rocket.

7. Glue the payload to the rocket.

8. Make the finishing touches by adding more padding and more tape.

Launching Procedure1. Stick the rocket in the launcher.

2. Start pumping.

3. Count down from 10.

4. Pull the string .

5. LIFTOFF!

6. Check if our egg survived.

7. Record the times.

Hypothesis/Prediction

Our group thought the air was going to go higher. We thought it would add more

weight with water. We were wrong!

The rocket actually went higher with water.

Comparison

On the first launch with air the rocket was slower and didn’t go as high. The first

launch did not go as well as the second one. Why? Well our egg did not survive the first time ,but the second time it did!

Our group had two very different launches! Plus two different designs.

Conclusion

The reason why our egg did not survive the first time is because we put the egg right in the

cone. The second launch worked well because the egg was at the bottom of the pay load.

(With lots of padding.)

It went faster and higher the second time because there was 80 psi of air and some

water in a little space so it had lots of pressure!

Our rocket changed on the second launch because we put more

padding in and it had water in it!!!

Our launches! The first launch was not

successful to us because our egg did not survive!

Sure enough our egg survived the second time!

Thanks for watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
