The primary activities of the program:

- Learning about health through interactive workshops, school classes- all-day educational trip ecological farms.Children participate in caring for animals and organic gardening as part of practical work- Children are stimulated to apply these principles and values in everyday life (poster healthy habits)

- the creation of school gardens and start composting in schools- program is designed as a supplement to the existing formal education programs in the field of health promotion in primary schools (Method -learning through experience)

Slovenian students:

• Showed better knowledge about health and the environment in the initial measurement - and did not adopt so many new skills during the program as the Croatian students.

• After the workshop improved knowledge of the plastic bags, locally grown food, whole grains, and compost.

• Shift in the adoption of healthy habits: tried different types of milk, filled with healthy habits from interactive poster.

• Believe that ecology is important more than Croatian pupils.

• They claim to live a healthy life significantly more than the Croatian students.

knowledge, changing attitudes and adopting healthy habits

• Slovenian students have advanced less in knowledge and attitudes - because their initial results were better

a) Ratings for program Healthy ECO life (teachers )- average score of the program is excellent (5)- the most important elements of the program:environmental education and preparing healthy meals

- They find the workshop very useful and want to participate in the follow up of the programme (100% of responses)- 50% of teachers recommended inclusion of segments of the pogrammme in school curiculum
