The Maha Mrityunjay Stotra is also known by the name Rudra Mantra, referring to his angry persona. It is known by the name Triambakam Mantra, literally the God with three eyes. It is also known as Mrita Sanjivini Mantra because of its life-restoring aspect, as experienced by sage Shukracharya, who was revived by this mantra after a period of severe austerities.****************************************Om! You are the fragrance of life, who nourishes us, restores us, and causes us to thrive.
