MRI/MRA Patient Checklist Workflow On all MRI and MRA orders placed on any patient with a registration status of Inpatient or Inpatient Observation, there will be a MRI Patient Checklist nursing intervention triggered. This intervention will go to the nursing worklist as a onetime worklist item that will be removed once documented as being completed. In this example we placed a MRI Knee Left without contrast.

MRI/MRA Patient Checklist Workflow
On all MRI and MRA orders placed on any patient with a registration status of Inpatient or Inpatient
Observation, there will be a MRI Patient Checklist nursing intervention triggered. This intervention will
go to the nursing worklist as a onetime worklist item that will be removed once documented as being
completed.
In this example we placed a MRI Knee Left without contrast.
Once all the required fields are entered and the order is processed, this will reflex the MRI
Patient Checklist.
MRI Patient Checklist order will be pre-selected as NOW.
After these orders are processed, both will show up under current orders tab.
This will put a onetime assessment item on the nursing worklist.
The MRI Patient Checklist can be accessed be either the link from the worklist, or from the same
link available when documenting the assessment.
This link opens a separate webpage on MissioNet displaying the document which can be printed
from here.
Once the assessment has been documented as complete this will be removed from the worklist.
