Review: Changing Text and Paragraph Appearance Evaluate the visual appeal of
paragraph layout. Define the concept of a paragraph. Describe the difference between normal
view and print layout view. Identify instances in business letters
where paragraph breaks should occur.
Objectives By being able to do the following, you
will be able to make your business letters more attractive and easier to read: Indent the first line of a paragraph. Properly align the columns of tabular text.
You will know that you accomplished these when: The decimal points in dollar values of
tabular text align.
Focus Lesson: Changing Paragraph Appearance (30 classwork pts.) Indentation
Load your Pokras letters. If you didn’t do one, copy and paste at least 5 lines of text into a blank Word document from any class appropriate website.
Delete everything except the body of the letter.
