PublicHearing was successfully conducted on 30.01.2016as perJSPCBdirectives and Final EIA Report withPublic Hearing Proceedings submitted to MoEF&CC on 19/02/2016.The proposal is underconsideration of MoEF for grant of Environmental...clearance.Tasra Coal Mining Project has been planned-­maintaining a minimum distance of 100mbetween the river Damodar and the Quarry edge.Embankment will be constructed on northernbank of River Damaodar, adjoining to the quarryas per the conditions specified in theEnvironmental Clearance granted by MoEF.This will be strictly adhered to when the projecttake off. The balance 95.33 ha of decoaledquarryarea being converted into a waterreservoir shall be gently sloped and theupper benches of the reservoir shall beterraced and stabilized with plantation.Only native species shall be used forplantation.

Out of the total quarry area of 371.33 Ha,progressive mine closure plan will beimplemented covering 276.02 ha. Quarry areathrough backfilling & Afforestation by plantingnative species in consultation with the localDFO/Agriculture Department.

- (xix) Beside carrying out· regular periodichealth check-up of their works, 10% ofworkers identified from workforce-e-ngaged in active mining operation shall

- be subjected to health check-up foroccupational diseases and hearingimpairment if any, through an agency asNIOH, Ahmedabad within a period of 1year and the results reported to thisministry-and to DGMS. . .~

(xx) An amount of Rs.600.60/- lakhs as capitalcost and Rs. 35/- lakhstowards annualrecurring .cost has been earmarked forenvironmental protection measures. Thedetails of which shall be uploaded on thecompany web site every year.

An amount of Rs. 600.60/- lakhs as capital cost-has beerr'earmarked for environment protectionmeasures. Provision of Rs~-3S/- lakhs will. b~made towardS, annual recurring cost as directed.

(xxi) A detailed R&R plan for the life of the- -_.. project, prepare com-prising _Iosers,_
