Livestock Sale
This years sale was held on January 18, 2020 in the MJC ACE Pavilion. Both Swine andSheep Units had the opportunity to place their own animals in the sale ultimately
promoting our programs and showing what the Modesto Junior College Livestock Unitshas to offer. The sale was successful for both swine and sheep/goats. There were 75 pigsin the WD Sale and 8 of those were MJC pigs. The Sheep Unit held their very own pen
sale that was very beneficial to their program. There were about 300 people in attendancethroughout the day. The Modesto Junior College Agriculture Department was well
represented through our amazing students that helped at the sales. Thank you to all whomade this event successful, it could not have ran as smoothly as it did without you!
