HANEY’S KIDS a weekly look into the lives of the students of B116 Week Eight October 2nd, 2015 I still can’t believe the amount of support that was shown at The Great Harvest last night! As a teacher and future parent (next year!), I am overwhelmed by the dedication of people in this community. It is so wonderful to teach in a school where everyone is dedicated to making Rocky Hill the best school it can be. I can’t wait to see what the funds from last night’s event brings to our school. I have already seen the fruits of our labor from previous fundraisers. These fruits were evident in so many of our activities we did this week. Students got their first real test of creation this week as they were assigned a standard and the responsibility to design a screencast that would teach the lesson. You can check them out on their blogs. To wrap up the week, students presented their PowerPoints on Greek and Latin roots to their reading buddies.

Week Eight October 2nd, 2015

I still can’t believe the amount of support that was shown at The Great Harvest last night!
