A case Study OF Mr.Dodal Mr. Dodal is from the Village JAAM Sono U/C Ranwati, Taluka Obaro, District Ghotki (Sindh).

Mr. Dodal age about 38 years old of village Jaam Sono, a farmer and

sometimes rented a bike .He was a normal and very healthy person before rain flood 2012, when flood came he could barely escaped/migrated to other area,

but he could not able rescue his family house hold items and precious things,

during travelling and migrating to very odd area, his health status become

detonating/decreasing day by day. And after some time of rain flood passed then

he became accident of bike , in which he has injured right side of leg then

Doctors decided for leg operation and finally 2 rods put in the leg by operation

for recovery of health.

We Community Research Development Organization (CRDO) team have

traced him in Village JAAM SONO, we heard them and we have given him

priority in One room shelter (ORS) with fully advice of village committee (VC).

We hope that may be our (CRDO – IOM) shelter will help him to improve his life.

Living Standard of Mr.Dodal is very cheap and poor because he is farmer and

has also large family members, 06 children , in which 4 baby boy and 2 baby

girls.

Before Given him shelter of CRDO-IOM, he is living in very cheap hut style

shelter(no long life), but now he is moving to Construct the DRR CRDO-IOM shelter with consultancy of “Strawbuild” techniques for using the lime and lime

stabilized soil for the long life of shelter.
