    Concept Description

    The selected concept consists of a strong representation of the institute

    name and the shape of Michigan. The vivid colors were chosen because of

    one of the clients requirements: use vivid and bright colors .

    This concept (option 2) was selected from the original three options based

    on classmates feedback. There was general concensus that this design

    succeeded in creating an academic and professional tone for the brand.

    Design 3 was also popular because of its creativity of using hands and

    clouds to imply the shape of Michigan, but it can also be confusing to

    people who are not very familiar with it.
