    Application

This plansifter has been designed for the sifting

of granular and floury products as well as for the

sorting of differentproducts in wheat, rye, corn (maize)

and buckwheat mills. In addition, the plansifter is

applied as control sifter in flour storage systems ahead

    of bagging and bulk loadout.

    Features

    Maximum 84m2net sieve area

High sifting capacity; the clearance abovethe sieves is adjusted to suit the product volume

by using different frame heights and

    intermediate frames

    Sturdy, simple drive

Up to 26 sieves per compartment

    Sieve frames of synthetic-resing-coated wood

    Excellent sanitation

    Easy access for cleaning

    Minimized maintenance

    Drive with built-in motor

The sturdy drive ensures trouble-free operation of the

plansifter. The adjustability of the centrifugal weights allows

the throw of the sifter to be set to the optimum value

The centrifugal weights are supported by sturdy

self-aligning roller bearings with grease lubrication,

    resulting in low maintenance

    Range of models

The plansifter is available with 4, 6 or 8 compartments

all of the same height accommodating max. 26 sieves.

    Excellent sifting.

    End products of top quality.

    Compartments

The inside of the sieve compartments is of simple design.

The continuous door retains the sieve stack in place by

means of robust locks. The product-carrying channels

are easily accessible and can therefore be cleaned with

minimum effort. The sieve frames are easy to install and

    remove.

The sieve stack can be easily and securely clamped with

    an easy-to-operate clamping device.

Minimum maintenance for cleaning the sieves

    Sieve cleaners

The mult i-arm cleaner constructed of special synthetic

material travels on its center foot across the entire sieve tray.

From here, the cleaner tips to the outer feet and the sieve

is cleaned in all corners. The arms located on the opposite

cleaner side tap against the sieve cover cleaning it.

    Outstanding sifting efficiency.

The two sieve frame types N (normal) and B (wide) allow

optimum adjustment of the sifting area to the amount of

stock and to the number of separations.

    Examples of sifter schemes

    show the stock flows:

awith normal frame type N, horizontally

    divided

bwith wide frame type B, twin flow

    on primary sieves

c combined with wide frame (B) and

    normal frame (N), horizontally divided

    Working principle

The stock to be sifted is fed through one

or more inlets via the inlet frame to the sieve

stack. Different sieve frame types allow

up to seven separations. The individual

fractions are directed via channels in

the sieve housing and in the sieve frames to

the outlet frame. This frame directs the

collected stock to the spouts in the bottom

plate. Inspection spouts under the plansifter

allow the stock to be inspected with ease.
